As one of our most popular holiday types, an all inclusive family holiday will include comfortable accommodations, peaceful surroundings, activities for both mommy & daddy as well as to keep our child occupied of course, great food and an unforgettable pampering session as a plus point!
We could only think about it until we discovered:
Amverton Cove Golf & Island Resort
Nestled away on Pulau Carey, it is only a mere 40-minutes drive away form our place (50-minutes away from KL city centre)! Amverton Cove Golf & Island will truly become Pulau Carey area’s favourite hidden treasure! We guests love the rustic, peaceful surroundings with all the conveniences of a relaxing getaway. Discover why they’re not only a great place to visit, but an even better place to stay!
Lots to do here!
Golfers would return and as for us, we love this place as a great holiday spot for a short family get-away. It’s not just because of their lovely golf course, but also due to their comfortable overnight accommodations, great local food at their restaurants, and great hospitality. Thank you David for being so accommodating and friendly!
This affordable family destination offers a little something for everyone—especially the families & golfers. For those that want more than golf, only minutes away you’ll find amazing lakes for fishing, paddle boat or even go across their man made lake to an Animal Island!
The 18 hole course at the Amverton Cove is a scenic golf course that blends natural beauty and challenging play, sprinkled with watered fairways. Each of the 18 holes is designed for the enjoyment of all players of every level, from first-timers to seasoned pros.
We have always wanted to bring Mini C out on a holiday (with lots of outdoor activities) and here we were, for his birthday get-away, doing all the things he love!
What he loves?
1. Premier Suite
We checked in to our hotel earlier so that we have more time to relax and enjoy the facilities.
We were given a Premier Suite!
Such a spacious room and it’s perfect for Mini C to run about. Indeed he loved the room so much we can tell. Haha.
The first thing he did? Jumped and rolled on the bed of course!
Though he loved the bed so much, he has to sleep here! LOL. Mommy & daddy gets the big bed!
Very thoughtful of them to prepare a baby cot for Mini C.
Super spacious bathroom with all the amenities we need.
Who loves the bathtub more?
Our balcony view of the pool 🙂
We also took a short tour around the resort to check out other rooms!
Ready to go!
Amverton Grand Villa
Hanging out around the villas

2. Restaurants: Coffee Terrace & Rabbit Room
After some rest, we went for lunch at Coffee Terrace that is located at their Clubhouse. Just take a walk or if you wish to take the buggy for fun, you can do so too!
And we had Asian/ local food! Highly recommended by David, their Fish head Curry is a must try!
All the dishes we had was very tasty and even Mini C loves them.
Coffee Terrace is an al fresco-like restaurant overlooking the lake and Animal Island across.
And as for the Rabbit Room, we enjoyed our daily breakfast here. They served ala carte buffet on weekdays. We settled our first day dinner here too, with choices of Western & Asian treats.
They offer great view of the 18 hole Golf course and we love dining outside for breakfast. Cooling & relaxing while being surrounded with lush greenies.
3. Lots to do!
Apart from sleeping well & eating well, we did a lot of fun stuffs with Mini C too!
Here’s a list of the things that you can do at Amverton Cove!
Take a buggy ride for the activities!
– Animal Island
– Adult & Kids ATV
– Paintball shooting rang & battlefield
– Flying fox
– Rock climbing
– Paddle Boat
– Boat ride
– Bicycle ride
Nah. Mini c is too young for Kids ATV haha. Maybe next time yea?
– Swimming Pool
– Kids Fun Zone
– Game Room
– Pool & Snooker
– Table Tennis
4. Animal Island
We took a boat ride (less than 5 mins) across the lake to this small island that homed some animals. Like a petting zoo, Mini C was really excited as he loves animals on books! Seeing real ones for the first time so closely, he was thrilled! Also, they provide some animal feeds for us to feed the monkeys, goats, deers and ducks too.
Told him that we’re going for a boat ride and he stood still, letting David help him put on the baby life jacket.
Mini C can’t open his eyes! LOL
Welcome to Animal Island!
DUCKS! he said
And there’s this tamed Prairie Dog! So cute and fluffy! Just turn your fingers and he will start twirling around 🙂
Checking out the fish pond
Mini C enjoyed playing with the rabbits most!
And this is the Animal Island keeper’s pet! The Musang.
Ok. Mini C wasn’t crying here. He was shrieking cos he was being tickled by the musang! Haha!
Say hello to BOY, the little pony 🙂 Too bad Mini C couldn’t ride on it that time as it was his mealtime.
Time to go back!
Mini C loves swimming! Since we went there on a weekday and during non-peak period, we had the huge pool to ourselves! Equipped with slides at the kid’s pool, the pool overlooked the 18-hole golf course.
6. Paddle Boat
Out to the lake again on this Swan Paddle Boat!
Again, picture failed cos Mini C can’t really open his eyes out in the sun LOL!
Blessed with good weather!
7. Kids Fun Zone
After a round of sweats doing outdoor activities, we were quite worn out. However, our kid is still pretty active. So this Kids Fun Zone saved us! Haha.
Mini C was so occupied with this playland till he doesn’t wanna leave!
8. Eat Out!
Craving for a seafood meal? Oh yeah.
We drove out to Kang Guan Seafood Restaurant which is only about 10 minutes away from Amverton Cove.
Thanks David for the recommendation.
Check out their Claypot Butter Crabs! Bursting with so much flavours. Plus, their crabs were really fresh too.

Is this place new and quiet?
This place has been established about 2 years already.
It can be quite busy during their peak period eg, weekends or school holidays. Nonetheless, it’s a great place for families to relax and enjoy.
If you prefer a more private space, you can go for their private villa eg amverton villa, courtyard villa 🙂
Hope these infos helps! 🙂
