We never really expect a cheekily named restaurant called the 3 Wise Monkeys Bistro & Bar would turn up serving us a porky-licious treat instead!
If you are to visit Setia Walk and have no idea where to dine due to the mushrooming selections, this cute bistro can definitely be considered.
At 3 Wise Monkeys Bistro & Bar, they are offering awesome cocktails, happy hour alcohol selections and of course a great selections of food. They even claimed that they have the best hand made pizzas in Puchong! We’ll see now! 🙂
We absolutely love the deco around as it’s so British-ly retro-modified. With many different types of clocks on their wooden wall, vintage grandfather’s clock, Big Ben Model, London Phone Booth & Double Decker Bus miniature, and also the Union Jack prints! A cool & funky place to chill. You can also opt to sit outdoors at their al-fresco area if you wish to enjoy the cool breeze by the central lake at Setia Walk.
Pina colada to warm up during the current cool rainy season
Let’s start with something light before indulging in a meaty affair with the pork 🙂
Ceasar Salad – RM16
Romaine leaves, boiled eggs, croutons, bacon & Parmesan Cheese
Mushroom Soup – RM16
Very rich and you’ll definitely need to share this as one portion can feed 2!
Pork Burger – RM25
Pork patty topped with bacon, sauerkraut, cheddar, lettuce on fresh buns. The buns are soft & pork patty is flavoursome. However, when it comes to pork burger, the Legends Bar’s version would still be our favourite for the moment.
Pig Out – Hungry Monkey – RM26
Hickory smoked BBQ pork cuts, pepperoni, bacon, luncheon meat, onions.
Smoking-ly delicious. Thin crispy base with generous topping. Living up to their claim 🙂
Mushroom – How to Mend a Broken Heart – RM26
Shiitake, portobello, button, straw mushrooms, onions glazed with truffle oil. Mushroom lover like me would fall in love with this serving. Truffle oil that drips in every single bite and the aroma from all types of mushrooms, definitely will mend a broken heart. LOL. That’s quite a hilarious name 🙂
Linguini Aglio Olio – RM22
Sautéed linguini with olive oil, sun dried tomato, garlic, mushrooms with chilli flakes on the side. Al-dente pasta bursting with flavours.
Spicy Squid Ink Spaghetti – RM26
Black squid ink spaghetti, battered squid rings, Otak-otak in spicy lemongrass sauce. A gentle warning to those who can’t take spicy food as this serving is flaming. A unique combination of Asian-infused dish, however we thought his east meets west combo isn’t too right as we don’t really get to taste the squid ink spaghetti with the spiciness that was too overwhelming. Spicy-takers would love this though.
Pork Neck Steak – RM25
Grilled pork neck cut with side potato salad. A must for pork lovers 🙂 Tender meat with aroma from the char-grill was lovely. Add a dash of their signature sauce for extra flavours.
Sausage Platter (5 pcs)
With grilled 4 assorted German-imported sausages. Served with grilled tomato, sauerkraut & mustard
Bavarian, cheese, German, and Hungarian sausages that added bulk to our bellies. Great with beers!
My brother with his favourite pizzas!
A pork-loving bistro that’s suitable for celebrations, chilling-out, gatherings and if you crave for a porky meal out of a sudden. FYI, they serve Asian cuisine as well. 2 pages of huge food menu. So no worries if you don’t like a western meal for an evening 🙂
