Which pisses you off more when you’re dining out?
And as for us?
We experienced BOTH.
1. Environment was great. Hip, casual & trendy lightings bringing out the bar atmosphere.
2. Food presentation was really good too. It looked tempting and the aroma augmented our hunger even to a greater extent.
Seafood Aglio Olio – RM 24.90
Tossed in of light roasted garlic oil with scallops, prawns, chilli flakes, fresh basil and Parmesan shavings. Definitely not the best we had & in fact quite disappointing as the seafood were not fresh at all!
Indonesia Fried Rice – RM 18.90
Spicy nasi goreng with Balinese satay, Fried egg, sambal & prawn crackers. Nothing to shout about. Only the satay was tasty.
Fettuccine Carbonara – RM 24.90
Fettuccine with beef bacon, sauteed brown and oyster mushrooms, cream and Parmesan sauce. Not cooked to al dente. Texture feels like you’re having “pan mee”. Lack of taste too 🙁
Chicken & Mushroom Pie – RM 21.90
Mild green curry chicken and mushroom pie with cheddar cheese and puff pastry with grilled asparagus, shitake and tomatoes. That’s what it says on the menu.
It turned out to be served with long beans instead of asparagus.
Singapore Kuay Teow – RM 18.90
Wok fried flat rice noodles with tiger prawns, cockles, fish cake, bean sprouts and chives. Prawns weren’t fresh, and it’s really spicy. In fact, too spicy for one to actually taste it.
Bad service is another factor that keep us away. Waited for about an hour for the food to come as the staff lost our order, even asking for a glass or water takes forever and when it comes to billing, you’ll just have to wait.
Don’t mind waiting when there’re lotsa customers, but it’s kinda empty during our visit!
