There has been a sudden urge to check out more coffee places recently. Thanks to Chris who’ve injected me with his caffeine addiction via his stories on coffee appreciation & our little DeLonghi at home. It was Hot Shots Coffee & Tea that we were aiming for before Espresso Lab but too bad Hot Shots are usually closed on weekdays.
Some said they have a pretty cute interior.
Some said they are homely.
Some even said they serve the best hot chocolate ever!
We personally agree that Hot Shots are well-hugged by these praises
“Keep Calm & Drink Coffee”
A well matched decorative theme for Hot Shots.
At Hotshots, you will be surrounded with a homely environment. A huge marble kitchen table sits right in the middle of the outlet, prettified with a brighter area with a selections of tea varieties on one side and the other darker classic corner with different coffee machines.
Another corner for one to learn the different colours of the coffee beans
FYI, this is a place where you can buy freshly roasted coffee beans, coffee machines of different types: be it for home, cafe or restaurant, grinders and roasters.
Cappuccino – RM7
Checking their house blend for the first time, they advised us to try out other beans on our next visit
‘Seriously Rich’ Hot Chocolate – RM9
Served with Boudoir, fresh strawberries & marshmallows, their hot chocolate was definitely my favourite. So rich that it triggers the release of endorphins.. a lot. So happy!
Must-have with Marshmallows!
Belgian Waffles – RM10.90
Fluffy waffles served with whipped cream, fresh strawberries & seriously rich hot chocolate. Remember to drench in some syrup.
Fluffy Raisin Scone is also available at HotShots at RM5.50
Pooi Ling has been a friendly host, demonstrating how the shots were made. The aroma filled the cafe quickly.
