Pub Grub of the Week: Sid’s Pub @ Bangsar South

Adjourning back to more places for pub grubs, we prefer neighbourhood British pubs, like what you can find at Sid’s
Known as the British gastro pub, this laid back ambiance portrayed comfy surroundings and they provide a variety of comfort pub food. Being a British inspired pub, dropping by here for a pint or two would make you feel like the local drinking crowd in UK. Sid’s Pub in TTDI is the first outlet, the other Sid’s outlet are located at Bukit Tunku and Bangsar South.

Having heard that they serve hearty and filling bar snacks & meat, we were there early after work for some burger and beer, at their Bangsar South outlet.

Strongbow Cider – RM11 per glass (Happy Hour)
Cider made of fermented apple juice would be my personal favourite.

Guinness Draught – RM18 per Pint (Happy Hour)

The menu here is non-halal, boasting a whole lot of pork dishes! It’s a great move to check out their snappy snacks which include:
Pigs in Blanket – RM16
Pork sausages wrapped in bacon. With streaks of crispy bacon hugging the sausages resulting a different texture, we love this very much; especially after dipping ‘em into the hot mustard!

Sid’s Burger – RM16
With choices of meat patty: Pork, Beef, Lamb or Chicken served with portion of chips
Add bacon/ cheese/ fried egg – + RM2 each
We went for Beef Burger, topping it with a fried egg. The meat was tender but not really juicy. Not the best burger we had around town in a bar.
