A day fun-filled with activities have to be compensated with a relaxing & comfortable , energy-recharging hide-out somehow.
Our 2nd night’s accommodation was spent in Ubud; a remarkable town in the middle of the island of Bali.
Tegal Sari to be precise.
Villa concept rooms that offer tranquillity, privacy and comfort churning out a relaxing atmosphere. We had rooms facing the the green rice field, overlooking the nature, hearing natural harmony of frogs croaking & crickets sing.
We had 2 different rooms; both with a different atmosphere & they were very affordable too! Highly recommended.
Note: We made a reservation about 4-5 months in advance and the rooms were quite full already! Do make early bookings to avoid disappointment.
Deluxe Room
IDR 500,000 + 10% tax per night excluding breakfast / RM194.20
Beautified with one single size bed and one queen size bed, minibar, sofa, air conditioner and ceiling fan, western bathroom with separate shower, view facing the rice field & located on the first floor.
Wooden Room
IDR 400,000 + 10% tax per night excluding breakfast / RM155.34
With a canopy bed and single bed at the terrace, minibar, air-conditioner, western bathroom with separate shower, facing the rice field & located on the second floor.
Their stone-bottomed swiming pool, with a massage pavilion nearby (1 hour body massage at only IDR 75,000/ RM26.50)
You could opt to dine in their restaurant for breakfast, or order a room service like what we did from an extensive breakfast menu.
We chose to have a light breakfast and save for some room for Babi Guling for 2nd round!
For more details on our 2nd day itinerary and the charge for our driver, refer to our previous post HERE.

Huh? Only IDR 50,000 per night for deluxe room? Are you sure? That's so darn cheap especially the place looks quite luxurious.
Seriously… I really want to visit it.

Very, very nice Christine! I love the photos, can't wait to go on vacation again (even though I'm going to China on Friday). I must make this a vacation year.
Don't worry, be happy!
Thanks for the great tips on Bali!

Phooi Fun~
You can contact Mr.Bagus thru this email: [email protected]
Actually, the whole Bagus family runs the tour hiring services so they might send just anyone from the family. Don’t be surprised if you see a Mr. Bagus that looks very different from our driver yea. haha
Our driver was Gutstut Bagus. Hope this helps.
Anything can email us at [email protected]
