A laid-back place to enjoy French cooking, cocktails & wines in a modern bistro-style surroundings. Ane we really love how they “revamp” the bar area, adding more details to it: carpets, sophisticated lighting – making it cooler & hip.
And they have a new chef in the house!
Introducing Chef Florent 🙂
Chef Florent brings many years of experience preparing French cuisine for prestigious restaurants in South Korea previously. Starting his culinary journey by learning from the best and refining his skills at an early start he was destined for greatness. Challenging himself to improve and move forward with his creativity and execution, Chef Florent took a huge step, moved up the ranks to work with the team at 2OX in Kuala Lumpur, heading them for a better platform.

Warm beef salad with lentils and fennel, horseradish cream
Juicy beef dressed with a lovely nutty flavour from the lentils which are ideal in salads.
Butternut squash barley pearl risotto with squid and spicy chicken sausage
A simple and satisfying risotto portion that was creamy and light. However we personally still prefer just risotto alone without the barley pearl although they do help with the added texture.
Chicken ballotine with Parisan gnocchi, mushrooms and light gravy
This is a very simple way to deal with boneless chicken breasts. The use of wild porcini mushrooms the beautifully nice flavour of the sauce turns them into something quite unusual and special.
Lacks the presentation but was still zesty and light. Thumbs up.
