Canoodling @ Bangsar Village 2

Another dinner session at another cosy little concept eatery by the BIG Group. Guess they monopolize Bangsar Village very well; like Bistro 42, Ricetaurant, Plan B, Ben’s and so forth…
This round was extra special as we celebrated birthday for someone special: Citygal
Since Kampungboy is busy across the ocean, we did this little honour for him 🙂

Located just right beside Ricetaurant (which we reviewed earlier), Canoodling is another cute & casual noodle house that serves a variety of noodles, including everything Asian in a bowl! From small bites, salads to very lovable local delights, your order can be extended till next door (Yes. You can order from Ricetaurant too)
The place was brightly lit with their yellow theme: Bright; with cute lamps hung up and creative illustrations.

Noodle Time!

The Canoodle Oodles of Noodles – RM11.90
Greyhound thailand inspired complicated noodles with stacks of iceberg lettuce leaves & coriander, marinated minced chicken in dark soy & coriander root, plus steamed silken rice noodle sheets, each served in its own bowl with a spicy coriander garlic sauce; to eat, assemble into little parcels and share as you please.
In short, it’s a serving of Chee Cheung Fun (CCF) with tasty minced chicken and spicy coriander garlic sauce that gave the extra kick! I personally loved this dish and it’s great for sharing.

Dan Dan Mein – RM11.90
Hand-made noodles tossed in a peanut buttery spicy Szechuan sauce with minced chicken heaped with curly cucumber & crunchy peanuts.
Not really spicy and it doesn’t carry the Szechuan taste.

Red Curry Duck Confit Noodles – RM13.90
Charcoal noodles topped with thai-styled red curry with lychees, finished with a whole crispy duck leg & fresh basil.
Everyone’s favourite dish as the charcoal noodles was well infused with the tasty curry. We cleaned up the bowl fast.

Wok Fried Loh Shu Fun – RM12.90
Thick rice noodles wok-fried with seafood, egg, beansprouts, chives, a touch of chilli and garlic.
Loaded with lotsa wok-hei, but too bad we find it kinda oily.

Ayam Percik & Salted Egg with Nasi Ulam – RM19.90 (Dish from Ricetaurant)
*served with soup of the day and Dessert
