When it comes to hanging out with old time buddies for coffee, Ristretto @ Mont Kiara topped our list; fulfilling Chris’s daily cuppa most 🙂
I’m personally not a coffee love and I think I’ve stressed this many times but good to know, I’m starting to love it actually.

And we actually switch the default mode to another channel now:

A revamped spot of Joseph @ Kitchen, focusing more on daily caffeine fix now!
A simple and cosy spot that you would feel yourself home. We felt that too 🙂 Coffee Stain is definitely a great place to start with if you love coffee or just about to know more about coffee.

Know your drink first, surrounded with the great aroma of coffee around the place.

Very skillful barista whipping the best for us!

With beautiful Latte Art too 🙂

Flat White – RM7.50
Getting long enough with Latte, I changed my usual order to flat white instead 🙂 The velvety foam matched with the aromatic sip was truly memorable, leaving the loyal aftertaste.

Cappuccino – RM7.50
Chris’s favourite blend.

Breakfast @ Coffee Stain
**We personally don’t really enjoy their breakfast set as it’s not up to our expectation. Most of them are pre-prepared. More improvement on this next time we hope.
For great breakfast, Antipodean @ Bangsar would still be our favourite so far.

Crossant Eggs – RM12.90

Coffee Talk @ Coffee Stain

Being such a coffee addict, Chris said yes immediately to the Coffee Talk @ Coffee Stain. This involves a sharing session by their roasting master, Wang Tao all the way form Shanghai sharing his thoughts and expertises on the each of the beautiful coffee beans, the right way to make a perfect cuppa and many bits & pieces of the coffee history.
Definitely worth the time and money spent, Chris agreed. Now’s talking the robusta & arabica language more often 🙂

Water plays a vital role here. It should stay at about 80-90 degree Celcius.

This is a Siphon Coffee Maker: it heats up the water at the bottom container, resulting a push up effect of the water vapour through a siphon tube; where the brewing takes place at the top container. Very interesting to watch.

We wouldn’t call ourselves coffee connoisseurs but the love for coffee has just evolved to a greater level.
For caffeine fix, we think of Coffee Stain most of the time now.
Gosh. Someone just set the default mode.
